Not what anyone in Carlisle wants to hear, but our spring fed village beck
has dried up (we're at the foot of the chalkland Yorkshire Wolds). It normally flows until around June/July (c.f. the winterbournes of Dorset) Trevor Kirkburn Driffield East Yorkshire |
