Global Dumming?

no comment, it's not high of my list of priorities to watch right now

I like to relax at the weekends - Fearmongering programs on the telly
are seriously banned at weekends

This latest Global Dimming 'end of the world scenario' Horizon programme
has me confused. How is this all going to fit in with the previous
Horizon
dire prediction a new Ice Age? This documentory was broadcast

November
2003 ; has that scenario now changed?

The politico/media establishment seem to think they require an ongoing
threat of Armageddon to maintain their primacy of influence over the
population at large.

I wonder how that squares with this release from Greenpeace. Tony Blair
is not interested in global warming.

Leaked documents reveal Blair's global warming betrayal

Nothing wrong with a good rant! Especially as I totally agree with you.

With a comment like that coming from a "trained" meteorologist, then
I do despair for our future, The effects of global warming are already
more severe than the climatologists had modelled, and unless action is
taken immediately then the results will be disastrous. The models
used by the climatologists are wrong, and it is becoming clear that
they underestimate the effect CO2 is having on the climate.

This week's meeting of the RMS is about the failing models. For
goodness sake, all you professional meteorologists should listen
to what the climate modellers such as Peter Cox are saying. We
are in deep trouble!

Cheers, Alastair.
