Hi there..

This is just a message to thankyou for advertising my name here there
and everywhere, it is much appreciated and saves me the job of
advertising my forecasts. I issued an apology for the winter forecast
of 2001/02 on TWO board so that will give you a little job to recycle,
if you want an apology, find it and read it, otherwise you can whistle
for it..

You see some of us have more important things to put up with in life
thats a lot more important than constructing a weather forecast for
fun. You see I've come to learn over the last few years just how
precious life is finding out one of my cousins has a severe heart and
lung disorder, you learn then in life the things that matter and the
things that don't...

Hi Tom,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write to me. As for
"advertising", well, it was the least I could do, what with The Weather
Outlook discussion forum advertising MY "good" name all the time.:-p

I issued an apology for the winter forecast
of 2001/02 on TWO board so that will give you a little job to

recycle,
if you want an apology, find it and read it, otherwise you can

whistle
for it..

Did you? This I do not recall. I believe you - but can this be
clarified?

When exactly did you post this say-sorry? That will give me an idea at
what date to look for on an Internet Archive search for this.:-)

*IF* I am unable to find it, can it least be reposted then, or, if not
just, at the very least, give me the zist of it?:-)

You see some of us have more important things to put up with in life

You are indeed quite right. I could not agree more, in fact.

thats a lot more important than constructing a weather forecast for
fun.

Alienated from my natural culture, distanced from my blood, and my
hopes shattered like MY DREAMS(!) (which is very fast becoming my
catchphrase, isn't it?:-p) by forecasts like YOURS. No, it's no
trouble, really.

As I have said befo
1. If I saw home with Lenin and the socialist comrades in the *proper*
snow, then I would most certainly NOT be doing this - or anything
that is even REMOTELY like this, today,
2. If that winter forecast of yours, and those of people that were LIKE
yours, had come off, then I would most certainly NOT be doing this -
or anything that is even REMOTELY like this, today,
3. If you actually APOLOGISED - which, to be fair, you say you DID do
now, and I DO appreciate that - for what happened, then I would most
certainly NOT be doing this - or anything that is even REMOTELY like
this, right now, today.

The 2002 winter was indeed a true let-down that is, to date,
unparelleled by any other event in my human life, thus far.:-)

Are we clear now?

You see I've come to learn over the last few years just how
precious life is finding out one of my cousins has a severe heart and
lung disorder, you learn then in life the things that matter and the
things that don't...

Yes, I saw this on the Internet. In fact, I saw your post about it on
The Weather Outlook forum, from where I was most illegitimately
dejected. I am sorry to hear that, and I do hope that everything works
out for yourself + family.

But please do try to understand that MY DREAMS(!) are precious to me.
Like the ring was to Gollum. (You, by that logic, are like Frodo. Gavin
Partridge and co. were like Sam, Pippin, and Merry.) I value them
greatly. I value *all* of my memories greatly, especially the *white*
ones, in every sense of the word.:-) So try to understand why I am
doing this.

Anyhow, refer back to what I said above, and now, the next step, is to
track down your apology on the Internet Archiving service! Duly
following that, we move onto Gavin Partridge after this.:-) Then my
"wrath stick" - LOL! - will move down to the Channel Islands to
seek a sorry out of a Mr. Gary Sarre.

Thanks,
D.

Well said Tom. When it comes to it, health is more important than anything
on this group. Shame more don't remember that...

Best wishes to you and your extended family, Tom

While the health of people like Tom's family - and all of our families,
for that matter too - should, only by rights, remain most paramount in
our daily thinking, then what about my MENTAL HEALTH?

My mental health has been damaged. What Tom Presutti - even though he
claims to have apologised, and I believe him, if I have actually of
course very much yet to see this particular apology - wrote on his
website in the autumn of 2001 has scarred me for life. What Gavin,
Andy, Gary, and everyone else on that forum wrote late that 2001 year
about that coming winter has also damaged my psyche for life. At least
in the proceeding mild winters, the forum community, I am more than
pleased to say, at the VERY least, actually approached the coming
season(s) very CAUTIOUSLY and SCIENTIFICALLY, not JOYFULLY and HAPPILY,
like it was most certainly NOT going to go wrong, à la 2001.

However, go wrong it did...

and I WANT my apologies.

Who could honestly deny that I am, at the VERY least, entitled to them?

Now, as I have said, with Tom's very much newfound candidness, another
chapter has closed tonight, as he *claims* to HAVE actually apologised
for this particular "winter" event in the past. This is good. Brian
Gaze likewise. But the list is long, and this WILL go on.
Remember, I am ENTITLED to them.:-)

Have a nice day :-),
D.

Shut the hell up!!!

In what ways am I a "lucky man"?

Damn that Verve song! Otherwise, it would be GOOD, but NO, it's not.
Why? Because it reminds of me of 1998 - the "year" it was released in!
The year that, to date, my dreams have DIED.

WHERE ARE MY DREAMS!? WHERE ARE THEY!?

WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????????
DON'T lecture me about luck, matey. NEVER doubt MY DREAMS!
