Default West Scotland this weekend??

Hi - I was wondering if you clever people could give me an idea as to the
likely accuracy of the BBC 5 day forecast for Oban
http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=2987
which suggests we have some cold still weather coming up
As some of you may know we have a polytunnel to recover after the gales and
this might be a window of opportunity?
Its far too cold but we are looking at hiring a space heater to get some
elasticity into the plastic.
As I need to muster some recruits !!!! it would be good to get some opinions
Cheers

It's looking rather windy for you tonight Jill, but I doubt it'll be a
gale.
The weekend is looking relatively settled and cool once we get the rain, or
perhaps snow, on Friday night out of the way.
Well, that's the general consensus anyway.
All the best,
Alex.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ukweather/ukpressure.shtml is worth a look
too. I find that one better for getting a feel for what the weather
will be like and what the risks are.

It certainly does look as though there will be some calmer weather once
the current low has moved away. The main uncertainty is the timing.
