![]() ================================================== ================== This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author. Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do. ================================================== ================== 1700 In past 24 hours I have recorded 40.6 mm (useful) rain. Nothing special of course up here but after a longish relatively dry spell it seems strange to have proper rain once again. We have slightly more annual rain than at Haytor and only on four occasions, since September 2002, have we experienced more than 40 mm rainfall in twenty-four hours. Perhaps our rain isn't useful enough to be special. :-) -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland. Hmm, I think that if I was relying on a 'special' event only happening 1:10 years, I'd have it seen to. -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland.
