There is an 'international kite festival' on Weymouth meach on the Mayday
Bank holiday weekend. Over the last 10 years I have been cold 4 times, ok 4 times and sunburned twice. Whats the reckoning for a nice steady onshore breeze and fine temps? Bye the bye, in ten years, little or no precipitation.... T |

I've noticed that the May Day weekend tends to generally produce good weather. I can't remember the last time May Day came in a changeable period. On the other hand, the late May holiday seems to have a much poorer record: there always seems to be a short changeable spell in late May/early June which marks the boundary between spring and summer.
