Yasterday's max 5.1 (to 0000) and we're now up to 8.8c.
Had a quick look back and since 15th November 10c was only attained on 11th and16th December, and 19th January with an overall max of 10.8c. Thanks to Weatherlink that calculates out at 10.3 hours above 10c in that period. I know I recorded a similar sub 10c period which ran well over 100 days in Penistone in 1996, but we were nearly 500 feet higher there. When you're Cornish, this seems a remarkable statistic, and I'm sure Graham Easterling will agree. I suspect the Penzance sub zero hours won't be far off our +10c hours????? -- David Mitchell, 70m amsl, Langtoft, East Riding of Yorkshire. |
