The beginning of Summer Time tomorrow reminds me that in 1975 its onset, on
16 March, marked the arrival of winter following mild weather in January and February. Between 16 March and 10 April 1975 snow fell here on 14 days and there was a snowcover on 5 mornings. There were 11 air frosts. There was a day-long snowfall on Maundy Thursday, 27 March, when I had a max of 3.0C and there was snow on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Day.
