Default Feeling strangely warm...

Went for a walk along the seafront at Sunderland this afternoon in the
Northeast of England and despite overcast skies it felt very pleasant
indeed. As we walked along the promenade, we kept experiencing sudden warm
breezes, something never encountered before. It was as if we had walked past
some warm air blower!
Not very scientific, I know, but back at the car, the temperture sensor was
reading 15C (and that was in overcast conditions so no influence of the sun
warming up the sensor).
After all this rather chilly weather of late, it really made for a pleasant
change on the first day of British Summer Time.
Not long now before the first BBQ of summer!

DAVID.

Default Feeling strangely warm...

Went to Sporle in Norfolk on Saturday and today we walked to the Black
Swan in Little Dunham, it felt really warm in the sun.
After a tasty meal we drove to Wells and to my surprise there were lots
of daffodils. Still waiting here in Weston Coyney for the first!

On my return this evening to Staffs I see we managed 13.3c (warmest day
of the year so far) but with 12.4mm of rain.
