Default Bilbao

On a couple of occasions recently I've been browsing the temps
reported in Northern Spain - Bilbao, Santander, San Sebastian and I've
noticed that Bilbao seems to be 7-10 deg C hotter than the surrounding
cities.
Is this likely to be an error or is there something peculiar about the
area that would cause this ? I visited the area last year (apr) and I
certainly didn't notice any major difference between the 3 cities
mentioned - they were all cold and wet!
