Hi, David,

I think that was a cup match and so not premier league. Forest v Spurs
Feb 1996 abandoned after 18minutes - heavy snow.

Unfortunately for us NE folk who try to argue that we have good
weather, the Sunderland v Fulham game abandonment yesterday follows the
Newcastle v Charlton fiasco on 28th December when the game was called
off because of snow on the roads with the ground virtually full and a
playable pitch.

Thanks to Dave Licquorice, btw, for the excellent account from the
ground - you appear to have a job I would dream of!

More snow showers today, veg patch still on hold!
