Default [WR] Whistlefield, Sunday, 9.04.2006.


Started as blazing blue sky but since clouded over. Light showers
occasionally visible but nothing local. Patches of old snow visible
above c.600 metres.

At 13:00z:-

7/8 Cu/As.

Temperature, 6.2°C varying between a low of 1.6°C at 06:00z and a high
of 7.1°C at 10:45z.

Dew point, -3.7°C.

RH 49%

Wind 5 mph, gusting to 13 mph, NNW. Max gust 18 mph, NNW, at 01:30z.

Barometer 1015.8 mb, steady.

Recorded precipitation since 00:00z, 0.0 mm.

Total recorded precipitation this month, 40.6 mm.

Total recorded precipitation this year, 430.6 mm.

Shortly after the previous [WR] it snowed quite heavily for about
twenty minutes followed by a clearance. Currently, a beautiful evening
again.

At 16:00z:-

3/8 Cu.

Temperature, 6.5°C falling from a high of 7.6°C at 15:45 after
plunging to a low of 3.2°C at 14:15z during falling snow.

Dew point, -4.9°C.

RH 44%

Wind 5 mph, gusting to 13 mph, N. Max gust 21 mph, NE, at 14:00z.

Barometer 1017.1 mb, steady.

Recorded precipitation since 00:00z, 0.2 mm.

Total recorded precipitation this month, 40.8 mm.

Total recorded precipitation this year, 430.8 mm.
