Unfortunately, I missed it until it was past and then caught a glimpse of it through the trees. We generally get a couple a week unloading crude to the pipeline to Grangemouth or loading refined from the pipeline from Grangemouth. They turn through 180° before docking which must have been 'interesting' with the current wind. We also get Royal Fleet Auxiliaries heading to and from the NATO jetty at Glenmallan, 4 km north, loading 'assets' stored in the Glen Douglas Munitions Depot. The 'Ark Royal' paid a visit to load up before it sailed for the Gulf in 2003 and we've also had 'Invincible'. http://www.windycroft.gt-britain.co.uk/010203_01.jpg http://www.windycroft.gt-britain.co.uk/130103_01.jpg http://www.windycroft.gt-britain.co.uk/170603_01.jpg -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland.
