I heard she'd made the "coldest winter for decades" claim again, and
wondered when it would come up on here.

What are the bare facts of this winter?

I had a brief look at the Meto anomaly maps

0Stations.jpg which show 80-90% of the country above average.

As a personal opinion, it didn't strike me a hard winter at all, March
of course had 3 weeks or so and cool (but no way extreme) weather, but
the rest was, well, boringly average.

Did it trigger winter fuel payments (do we even still have those?).
If not, WTF is Ms Hewitt on about ;-)
