Default The differnce a day makes

After yesterdays almost unbroken sunshine (8.53 hours), today we have
had continuous light rain and cloud. 2.4mm so far, not a lot, but I'm
glad I mowed the lawns yesterday. As little as it maybe, the ground has
stayed wet, so not to much evaporation back into the air, should do the
ground and plants a lot of good.

Precipitation has been very slight so far here. Ground is only damp, not
wet. Only recorded 0.3mm so far.

Glorious day up here, near cloudless sky, bright and hot sunshine. T
shirt weather, max 17.4C late afternoon. If this keeps up the Daffodils
will be fully open soon, each bloom is only about 50% open ATM and thats
for the sheltered ones. Still quite a bit of snow on Cross Fell.

Thanks, Dave. There must have been quite a large amount for it to have
remained until now.

That is the north facing side of Cross Fell and in the hollows etc. I
suspect there would have been quite a bit up there. We had considerable
amounts of sleet and wet snow but were not quite cold enough for it to
accumulate. Height makes a great deal of difference...
