Default Re; Wokingham anomalies, 1st to 15th August

The climatological figures for Wokingham for the first half of August make
interesting reading:
Anomalies from 1971-2000 average
Mean max +7.1
Mean min +2.5
Rainfall 6 %
Sunshine 181 %

Plenty of scope for redressing the balance in the second half of the

month?.

My goodness Bernard. If that was maintained (which it won't) that would give
you a reading of 4.8C above average. As far as I can gather the normal
August temp for your area is about 17C that would mean an average of over
21C.
First signs of a what they think the second half of this month is 24 to
26 by day and around 12 to 14 by night. As some have said that still gives a
good average but I cannot see a 19 plus though from that. I still think that
we will be well in excess of 18. Philip Eden gave a forecast at the
beginning of the month of a CET of +2C above normal. Seems like Philip could
be spot on.
There is still time though :-)
