A sandstorm originating along the China/Mongolia border affected

Interesting proposition for glow ballers in that China under its
gangsterism can push bad agricultural practises uphill until all the
farmers are extinct in a thatcheresque "we have the power" sort of bad
trip.

They forced Tibet of all places to grow rice. Rice! FFS!!

And they have the dubious record for the most filthy atmosphere in the
world. Hard to see that I am the one that is right, not the
glowballers.

Was that the 17th of this April BTW?

Thanks, Jon. I see the MO are highlighting pollen from Denmark, but I
doubt very much that is the major constituent. I'd go for a combination of
fire smoke from Russia and possibly some dust from further east, as others
have suggested.

The NOAA 18 13.41Z image shows much of the British Isles, bar the far NE
and SW, covered.

The 13.55Z MODIS image also shows it well, even suggesting Iceland was
affected today.

Hi, All,

Any dust deposit experts lurking,

My windows are plastered with it as is the car. Getting these strange
red sunrises and the sky isn't truly blue - more like a yucky greyish
blue colour.
