Brussels on Saturday 13th May

Cloudy at first but bright by mid-morning. Sunny spells and varying
amounts of Cu in the afternoon. Cloudy evening - sky rather ominous and
threatening towards dusk. Thunderstorm reported after 20.00 local time at
the airport but no rain or thunder here in Woluwe St Pierre about 6 miles
SSW of the airport. Still warm - light to moderate SW wind veered W in the
afternoon.

Brussels Uccle 22.0°C - overnight minimum 14.0°C.
Brussels Airport 21.8°C - overnight minimum 11.7°C and 0.7 mm rain.

Noted in the METARs, which promoted me to dig out the TAFs (below). Do you
know if the Belgians amend TAFs ? AFAIK the French don't.

I'm afraid I don't know. Thunder quite widespread in the eastern half of
Belgium this evening http://217.160.75.104/wz/pics/Rsfloc3.gif . I am
surprised that I haven't seen/heard any distant lightning/thunder - just a
rather ominous sky intensified by the approaching dusk. I am only about 6
miles from the airport.
