Default MODIS images of Ireland

I have been kindly sent a link I was totally unaware of, by a fellow poster
in the Orkney:-) It is a daily image of Ireland centred on Mace Head in
Co.Galway. I can only think that image is available each day as there is
an atmospheric research station located there.

http://rapidfire.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/s...ONET_Mace_Head

It covers all of Ireland and nearby parts of GB and is in the usual 2km,
1km, 500m and 250m resolutions.

And *doesn't* have the repaeated data sections that the very quickly
available images have. Nice one Mike, I'm off for a dig, though that
image may just cover us at the RHS.

Yep found that on:

It doesn't *really* cover all of GB though it hacks Scotland off just
above Glasgow/Edinburgh.
