After a glorious sunny day yesterday, (8.8 hours of sun at Falmouth) the
wind backed just enough overnight for some heavy showers to run down between Ireland & Pembroke & clip west Cornwall. Shows up well on the rainfall radar for 06:00. Wind has veered again now, so back to blue skies. The longer sea track overnight meant the temperature only fell to 4.1 (yesterday's max 7.2, the 2nd coldest day of the winter). I'm starting to give up on ever getting an air frost again! Graham Penzance Weather www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/weather.html Holiday Cottage www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk |
