Although warmer than the LTA, the average temperature was very close to
the norm for the last 15 years.

Absolute Max: 20.6 - 12th
Absolute Min: 5.0 - 5th
Coldest Day: 11.6 - 22nd
Warmest Night: 12.0 - 27th

RAINFALL
Total Rainfall: 115.3 - 179% of LTA
Wettest Day: 26.7 - 14th

Thunder: 0 Hail: 1

87% of the months rainfall fell in the 9 days 16th-24th inclusive.
Outside of this period there was a lot of dry weather.

WIND
Maximum Gust: 45mph 19th
No. of Gales: 0

25th-27th saw a spell of real warm sector Cornish mist, the like of
which has not been seen since Spring 2005. Complete travel chaos trying
to get to Scilly for the Bank Holiday.

Coolest Spring since 1996, demonstrating the warmth of recent springs,
and perhaps explaining why so many seem to have regarded this spring as
cold, when it hasn't been.
