Default [WR]Copley gusty Pennine wind & low dew point

Hi, All,

Copley 2310Z, wind 29022G35KT. Sky clear, low dew point T11/DPt00.
I can only assume it's a local Pennine Wave effect as METARS for nearby
sites are showing dew points around 7C and wind speeds 5KT
When I left the club, about 10 miles away, there was a gentle breeze
but this F6 has been on here since 20Z.

Any thoughts anyone?

Copley site back up and running - it was my fault, not Orange's! 15hr
sun today and max 21C.

Best wishes,
Ken

IIRC there was a 25KT or so gradient over the Pennines this evening, Ken,
hence I'd go along with your wave theory.

The wave activity was certainly well marked earlier in the day across
Scotland
