Good afternoon, all.
While summer is knocking on our door and I've already recorded 12 tropical days here, in SE Athens, mountainous areas are still in spring and some rather wintry landscapes and alpine lakes are being revealed in high grounds: http://hellasweather.epigeo.gr/displ....php?pos=-8749 http://hellasweather.epigeo.gr/displ....php?pos=-8766 http://hellasweather.epigeo.gr/displ....php?pos=-8765 http://hellasweather.epigeo.gr/displ....php?pos=-8773 http://hellasweather.epigeo.gr/displ....php?pos=-8752 All pictures taken yesterday by Thanasis Liapis in the Pindus mountain range, west of Kalampaka/Meteora. Only two days ago, northern Crete experienced a Foehn effect shooting temperatures up to +39.6C very locally, while the rest of the country was enjoying much lower temperatures. ... Yannis, I'm getting 'Not found on this server'... I can get to the home page but alas, can't read Greek well enough to know where to look. Kate, the files seem to have been moved because of some encoding problems.
