I've just been looking at the charts for the second half of January in
1947 - thanks to the excellent archive at: http://www.wetterzentrale.de/topkarten/fsslpeur.html - and the chart for the 17th January caught my eye. If we were to see an identical chart today, how many posters here would say: "I'm writing this winter off"? ![]() -- John Hall "It is a very sad thing that nowadays there is so little useless information."
