Default Today's model interpretation (6/06/06)

Here is a summary of the latest NWP output for noon on Saturday. Issued
0525z, 6 June 06.

The models show a generally warm and settled weekend for most areas with a
risk of less settled conditions moving in early next week.

High pressure lies to the east with warm SE'lies over the UK as a result.
The winds become lighter southerlies at T+144 and by day 7 light winds and a
ridge cover the UK.

MetO: http://85.214.49.20/pics/Rukm1201.gif
High pressure is centred to the NE with SE'lies for all. A small low moves
northwards over the Irish Sea at T+144, bringing a mixture of SE'lies and
easterlies over much of the UK.

GFS: http://217.160.75.104/pics/Rtavn1201.png
SE'lies cover the UK with high pressure to the north and east. The high
persists to the east at T+144 with further SE'lies, followed by light winds
for England and Wales due to a col at T+168. By then a low to the NW brings
SW'lies across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland and SSE'lies for Scotland.

NOGAPS: http://85.214.49.20/pics/Rngp1201.gif
