Well I suppose we had to have it sooner or later, but a direct hit of a
heavy shower at 1745z.
I was still coming home, but from the debris on the roads, it was obvious
that a significant shower had just taken place.
Water Butts rather unexpectedly charged up. 6c temp drop after shower.

.... yes, as reported in our [OBS/WR], the activity could be seen from
here (Bracknell), with a rare collection of massive towering CU/CB in an
arc from ENE-S, finishing up with a horizon-full of Ci anvils over your
way - we've just had enough rain to dampen the ground - though that has
almost evaporated away now.

Martin.

We missed that one at Cranleigh. It's been dry here today, though around
5pm (BST) I thought that I could "smell" rain, even though it was sunny
outside.

We too had a thunderstorm in Fleet, with a decent downpour. I'm not sure it
was the same storm though as ours hit around 19:30.
