First rain for two weeks and it has to be today when we are due to walk 20
miles!

Drizzle and mist this morning with clouds shrouding hills above 450m asl. Temp
13.9 deg C, dewpoint 13 degC.
Wind SSE 9 knots. Ah well, I knew the gorgeous weather wouldn't last really :-(

Tut, tut Will. You forgot the first law of weather forecasting:-
The weather type on any given day is directly proportional to the extent it
can spoil your planned activity!
