I'm seeing a lot of distant lightning to my south-east

It's 3:00am and i can't sleep, cause it's too muggy. No A/C

Getting closer.........

Certainly not a sausage in West Dorset. I think what you saw tracked
NNE over the Blackdown Hills and off over Somerset

Would tie up with sort of figures R5L were quoting. (lots of minor roads
flooded around Taunton I hear)
