Excellent loop.

Sadly here in Cambridgeshire medium level cloud by the time I saw your
posting. It's getting daylight anyway, but will keep a look out
tonight.

That's an amazing green lump over your garden hedge there. What is it? Just
a big green lump?

Hi, Stuart,

Brilliant display - lasted most of the night here and quite a high
angle at times.

Best wishes,

It looks like a ancient burial mound. Is King Arthur buried there?

Also seen at Wokingham, 0200-0220z. Not brilliant, but quite distinct.

Brilliant display - was all sky at 0230z here at Wallsend before fading
into twilight. Put a photo up for anyone who's interested - showing NLC
types I,II,III,IV, S & V - tweaked slightly to remove the sodium yellow
cast and bring up the nlc:

I'm having trouble getting to that page - may well be gremlins at Plusnet
yet again:-(

I too saw a display whilst staying with my new parents in law last night.
They live close to the old airfield at Nutts Corner [1] in County Antrim.
Unfortunately, I didn't have my tripod so some camera shake is evident, but
the clouds can clearly be seen, taken at 23.15 UTC.

[1] I know at least one member of this ng worked for the MO at that
airfield, some years ago:-)

It is actually known as Fairy Hill though these days is more likely to be
frequented by tellytubbies

Loop now online at www.brooks22.plus.com/nlcloop.html. Be patient, it is 18
