'Skyscape' outside typical of a decaying (early summer) frontal type, or as one of our now retired Chief Forecasters would have said, the atmosphere is 'highly vertically partitioned': coded language for: 'not a lot to get your teeth into' and 'don't try fitting this to the thickness pattern'!! [ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z): screen max: 22.6 precipitation: NIL A fine, warm day but birds especially showing signs of distress with little 'open' water available and insects (on the wing & earth-bound) in poor supply. With ground rock-hard, species such as Blackbirds also failing to find worms/grubs etc.]= -- Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire, UK NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51° 23' 30'' N: Long: 00° 46' 28'' W |
