evening (Malvern), it just never seems to get here. Please can we have

The BBC TV London area weather summary tonight mentioned showers. No
mention of the severe weather warning at all despite there being some
overlap between them. Then directly afterwards the national weather
broadcast emphasised the weather "risk" but focused on a more westerly
part of the UK. One day, just one will do for me, local beeb, national
beeb and UKMO will be on the same page at the same time.
