Moderate (short periods heavy) rain eased around 1515Z, becoming intermittent light thereafter. [ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z): screen max: 14.0 precipitation: 8.1 other data: In our short 7 year record, this is the lowest day maximum for *any* June. Previous lowest day maximum for the _whole_ of June was 15.4°C on the 5th in 2002, and for the last 10 days of June, 15.8°C on the 23rd. With today's precipitation, total rainfall for the month has now leapt up to a respectable 27% of eLTA. ]= -- Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire, UK NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51° 23' 30'' N: Long: 00° 46' 28'' W |

I guess it takes 10mm to fill a 210litre butt. Looks like the other half will be filled at the weekend! Phil |

The sun broke through & the temperature rose, very locally, to an unexpected 19.1C. The result being a sea breeze & the torrential rain early this evening. Now foggy, & still raining steadily Graham Penzance |

Looks like the other half will be filled at the weekend! .... having spent the last couple of weeks laboriously using washing-up water to water the garden via a series of buckets strategically placed around the garage and outside, I took great delight in drawing off water from the butts today and now have said buckets full of rain-water all over the place! Looking at the ENS output for the London grid-point at:- http://85.214.49.20/wz/pics/MT8_London_ens.png I'm hoping we can eke out the collection until the beginning of July!
