This posting expresses the personal view and opinions of the author. Something which everyone on this planet should be able to do. ================================================== ================== Well after yesterday's terrific morning thunderstorm giving 18mm rain we had a stifling hot day today with a max. of 26.0 deg C and a dewpoint over 18 deg C at one time. Quite hot and stuffy for these parts. Mind you I was in Guildford Surrey University at the weekend and when I left Sunday afternoon the car thermo was reading 32.0 it then rose to 32.5 at Camberley. Thankfully at home it was a more tolerable 21.5 deg C. I couldn't get over how brown and dead the grass looked in Guildford. I've just come in from cutting mine this evening as it is now growing quickly again. Completely cloudy now and quite sultry at 2100 Temp 20.6 deg C Dewpoint 12 deg C Variable 2 knots of wind. Hottest day of the year here too Will, with 29.6C. I am sure it would have
gone higher but a sea breeze kicked in at 14:00 and also there were a few clouds floating around blocking out the sun occasionally. Currently at 21:20, 23.2C, RH 64%, DP 15.8C, 1015 mb (F), Wind calm. ________________ Nick G Otter Valley, Devon 70 m amsl |
