Yes Phil, very localised
I went out for a ride around 16:00. A shower ran through and I was sure I was going to get drenched! There were a few drops but that was all as I went on a loop from West Horsley, West Clandon, Send, Ripley and home. As I came under the bridge in West Horsley, on a dry road, the water was running in torrents down the gutters in The Street. As I got home, about 300m further on, my wife told me that but 2 or 3 mins previously, it had been coming down in "stair-rods". Quite glad I missed it really, I hate a wet bum! Cheers Neil Phil Layton wrote: Guildford 06/07/06 21:13Z Temp 17.8°C Dewpt 15.6°C Baro 1015.9mb Rising Slowly Rain 1.8mm Minimum 15.1°C at 2:44Z Maximum 21.3°C at 15:04Z Seem to have caught some SHRA's here today between 10-12 and 16Z.
