Pleasant, if rather gusty wind. [ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z): screen min: 11.0 grass min: 09.5 precipitation: NIL [24hr total: tr] ]= -- Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire, UK NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51° 23' 30'' N: Long: 00° 46' 28'' W |

The tops of the dry thermals are just about betrayed by embryonic condensation & immediate evaporation such that they look as if they are topped by haze - must be highly sheared given the strength and variability of the wind - the Swifts are having to come very low to catch the many insects, as the latter aren't rising very far - and this in turn has brought the Kestrels (a pair recently) down lower as well. A superb day - feels considerably warmer than the 23C in the screen, with strong sunshine.= -- Bracknell (Wooden Hill/Tawfield), Berkshire, UK NGR: SU 854 667 Elev: 80m Lat: 51° 23' 30'' N: Long: 00° 46' 28'' W |
