Anyone in the area able to ascertain where the smoke has come from ?

one in North Hampshire & one in SW Surrey - I expect we'll get more of
this sort of thing in the coming days [particularly with the weekend &
school holidays about ;-( ]

I could see the smoke quite clearly from the top of Bricksbury Hill
(Caesar's Camp), which also overlooks Farnborough airfield. The smoke
though was miles away from Farnborough and I doubt it could be seen from
there. More likely it was something to do with the airshow (red arrow's
smoke for example).
