RMK: Patches of St earlier this morning with vis around
5km. Surprised at how light the wind was on my walk to
the top of the Downs, though it does seem to be picking
up again now. COTRA.

RMK: Dense tufts of Ci showing marked vertical sheer,
which I've characterised as the lower stuff. Segment of
22deg halo visible, faint but coloured, near zenith.

1750z ENE F2-3 55km 1Ci280 25.6/10.0 1025.8
RMK: Extensive patches of dense cirrus during the early
afternoon, some floccus and virga, enough to dim the
sun at times; now the only remnants are low in the sky
to the east and southeast.
