I checked all the forecasts last night. BBC and Met Office said
unbroken sunshine; the rest said partly cloudy.

It was indeed a cloudless blue sky at 5.30 a.m., but high cloud
has been building and it now covers about half the sky.

MetO and BBC also predicted temperatures on 28șC or 29șC. I
doubt if it will make that. The other three predicted 21șC, 24șC
and 25șC respectively.

Must go and buy a thermometer .....

Similarly variable forecasts for here also.

I'm reading 31.7C here - possibly slightly high as it's not in a screen,
but it's out of the sun and there's a good breeze. Still quite a bit of
blue sky here, but the cloud is increasing.

Assuming my reading isn't ridiculously high, is there a chance of the
Scottish record going today, somewhere?
