Checking the 0100 to 0215Z avbrief radar... and looking outside (!) it
is apparent that the line of heavy (in places) precpitation crossing the South Coast is thundery - plenty of sheet lightning visible outside but no thunder heard here in Fareham There has been no rain here either! The Isle of Wight seems to have broken up the line of precipitation (as happens not infrequently) and it's skipped over Fareham. Lucky we don't need the rain... no hosepipe ban here ![]() Currently 20.0 deg C at 03:44 BST (phew!) still dry and with sheet lightning visible to the North. -- Dave Fareham (West) |
