Default Is it just luck or has something changed?

I noticed the current batch of storms are once again forecast to move up
from the south coast and track north and a bit west and make it to
Scotland.. This seems to be the norm in the last couple of years. The S.E is
still pretty much the hottest region and we often used to get storms making
the short crossing across the Channel to Kent and Essex from North Normandy.
Not any more it seems....... or maybe Thursday?

Dave

Dave..I was only saying to my perspiring neighbour today how many
seemed to skirt Dorset to the east i.e IOW then up over Salisbury
Plain.
I have got so fed up with the heat that I thought I would move the
thermometer up to the roofspace today, which I am STILL clearing.

As the member in Devon said, I have not given up just yet on some
rain to clear the air tonight.

I think the very worst aspect is going to bed and then finding that
some overweight blue bottle is bombing around. Last night I could hear
a small insect, felt it attack me but could not see the wretched
thing.
My partner is currently doing some work close to Garelochhead and I
was a little pleased to hear she was being bitten frequently.

At least all things will change this weekend

Get a cat. That way you don't hear insects buzzing about. Instead you
get the noise of the cat wrecking your bedroom in an attempt to kill
said insects
