Default Why is it

That it always takes the met office 20 min + to get the latest image
up. is this data available anywhere else ? (rain radar)

I always thought it was so that the Met can charge for the real-time radar
service. It certainly doesn't take 20 minutes of computer time to process
and combine a trivial set of radar returns!
