These vhrr photos seem to be scrutinised for evidence of smoke. If you
look at one over the Amazon Basin or Indonesia you will see what I
mean. I think Port Talbot steelworks has been identified as the source
of illegal logging.

Having checked the date of the image, I now realise the red box is
marking a mountain fire that happened that night.
Amazing stuff.

Port Tablot pretty much always shows up !
