Where did you see that forecast Phil?
The MO are giving; This Evening and Tonight Mostly dry with sunny then clear intervals. Eastern England will be cloudy with blustery showers, most frequent near the east coast. Saturday Largely dry with sunny spells. However, eastern England will be cool and cloudy with blustery, sometimes heavy, showers. Outlook for Sunday Western parts largely dry with sunny spells. Central and eastern areas mostly cloudy, cool and blustery, with showery, locally heavy, rain. I suppose Sunday looks promising(ish) although it looks like I'll still need to syphon the kids bath water out in to the water but!! ;-) Cheers Neil Phil Layton wrote: Guildford 11/08/06 20:23Z Wind NW F3 Wx - Cloud 7/Sc Temp 16.1°C Dewpt 7.0°C Baro 1012.1mb Rising Slowly Rain 0.0mm Min 10.6°C at 4:09Z Max 19.1°C at 12:00Z What's all this heavy showers turning into prolonged rain about on the forecast?!! Phil BBC Web cast http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ Phil I played golf at Milford just off the A3 this week and was shocked at how burnt up the fairways were. Nice to know it's not just my part of Essex. I also saw a News 24 forecast for quite a lot of rain for Sunday. It will be interesting if it does because the last time I had more than 10mm of rain was on Sunday 21st May when my cricket match was called off at a ground appropriately called Lake Meadows. We are due to play there again this Sunday! Dave |
