other data: several light rain showers through the afternoon, but
nothing of great 'worth'; however, in the immediate vicinity, some large
Cu (and in once case Cb), with dark, threatening cloud-base, so someone

.... yep, I can see the dark tops from here ;-) We have lived a 'charmed
life' this afternoon, as I hear from my father over at Winkfield
(half-way between Bracknell & Windsor), that they have had over 8mm of
rain from a heavy shower earlier in the afternoon.
