RMK: Line of AcCas, with striking turrets, low in the eastern sky; also fragments of high Ac and Ci. Coolest night since I've been here ... although just on the dipslope of the escarpment, my garden is in a shallow valley about 15m below the highest point hereabouts, and that, on limited evidence so far, seems to be sufficient to allow significant pooling of cold air on radiation nights. 09-09z: Tx 17.8 Tn 6.0 Tg 1.7 RR 0.0 sss(00-24) 2.8 Philip Eden Whipsnade 214m |
