Hi,
I've tried Googling for this, but I just can't seem to find the right question to ask. What I'm looking for, if possible, is a graph showing that changing CO2 levels are linked to warming trends in the global climate - preferably ones covering hundreds of thousands, or even millions of years back (to eliminate the human factor). -- Paul Hyett, Cheltenham (change 'invalid83261' to 'blueyonder' to email me) |

"Gianna" wrote in message ... http://cdiac.ornl.gov/trends/co2/contents.htm (Several sites available via Section 9 of the FAQ .. see link below) From the IPCC 2001 report:- Some graphs showing the CO2 profiles over various time-periods:- http://www.grida.no/climate/ipcc_tar/wg1/105.htm#fig32 and for a discussion on the pre-instrumental (as well as the instrumental) temperature profile:- http://www.grida.no/climate/ipcc_tar/wg1/067.htm Although the IPCC reports can be rather 'turgid', there is a lot of useful stuff in there. -- FAQ & Glossary for uk.sci.weather at:- http://homepage.ntlworld.com/booty.weather/uswfaqfr.htm and http://booty.org.uk/booty.weather/metindex.htm |

Maybe some more googling would unearth it. Martin Guernsey |
