Max 25.3C, warmest since 17th July, 13th warmest day of the year.
Probably[1] the latest 25C+ since I started rough recording of data in 2001 (actually 2000, but I've lost my paper records). That makes three consecutive Septembers which have had a temperature over 25C (2004: 25.7C on 5th, 2005: 26.9C on 5th, 27.9C on 6th), though none had previously done so in my records. This was quite a surprise today; yesterday only managed 18.9C; Friday 17.9C, despite all these warm forecasts. Adrian (12 miles ESE Aberystwyth, 260m/860ft asl) [1] I used to record temperatures only when they were the highest/lowest of the month, therefor if there was, say, a 25.4C on 6th September 2004 I would not have recorded it; digital recording of all data started on 30th March 2005 -- Adrian Shaw ais@ Adran Cyfrifiadureg, Prifysgol Cymru, aber.
