I was in Corfu the same week last year, and there were torrential
downpours then, looks like the 4th week of September is not a good week
to go to Corfu.

Also, I was meant to be on holiday on the Greek isalnd of Evvia for the
past two weeks but due to my farthers death I had to cancel at short
notice & re-arrange for end of October.

Nice of Dad to always look out for me!

I spent a month there in October 1975. It rained heavily some of the
time but, as you say, it's beautiful. I think we British have a thing
about small islands but Evvoia is more a big chunk of the mainland.
