Default Rainfall milestone, Canterbury

I have just reached that heady milestone of 10mm of rainfall this month
with 2.5mm overnight bringing the total to a dizzying 10.2mm. More rain
is forecast for the next 48 hours, but we would need 9.7mm for this
month not to be the driest since before September 2004.
