Serious damage was caused by a tornado in the village of Quirla in the
state of Thüringen (Thuringia) in eastern Germany at 01.52 local time on Sunday night. Three people were injured. At least 20 houses had their roofs partly ripped off and a number were rendered uninhabitable.
